CLARISSA BALDASSARRI for NIVEA

A Documentary, in stills & motion, for Nivea's Value of Touch. The work focused on the story of Naples based conceptual artist Clarissa Baldassarri, who's condition of intermittent blindness informs and moulds her creative practice. Working from her studio in central Naples, the film took on and extremely tactile quality all of it's own, much like her own work. The timeline of the film follows Clarissa through the gritty Naples streets, in her studio & finally the Naples Institute for The Blind. The musical score was created by legendary ambient composer Eraldo Bernocchi.
